Andre and Veronique are two award-winning photographers who always work together, providing you with double wedding coverage, or the option of adding video coverage!
What is your style?
We think of our style as being a form of romantic photojournalism. We use selective focus and natural light (enhanced with a kiss of fill flash, when necessary) to create artistic and unique compositions. We want to capture the real moments, not manufacture "fake" ones.
We are also skilled at breathing life into the group portraits which are such a vital part of every wedding celebration. We make these "formal" pictures feel informal and fun!
We are both award-winning members of the Wedding Photo Journalists Association, an honor accorded to fewer that 5% of wedding photographers nationwide. This means that we are recognized as "professional photographers, skilled in the documentation of weddings in a candid, unobtrusive style, who hold industry-leading standards, talents and business integrity."
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer three types of albums:
- press printed, hard cover coffee-table books with your choice of fabrics, leathers or wraparound photos
- ink-jet printed, hard cover coffee-table books with wraparound photos and optional felt-lined presentation boxes
- photographically printed, hard cover coffee-table books with your choice of fabrics, leathers, metal, even glass or wraparound photos
Do you offer video?
We are offer two types of video coverage (both recorded in high definition), and in both cases Veronique will be your photographer and André will be your videographer. Includes professional editing and mastering to standard-definition DVD with a chapter point menu for easy random access. Optional Blu-Ray Disk master is also available.
- Low-Key Documentary
tripod-mounted, unobtrusive, discreet this type of coverage includes pristine digital audio and is excellent for ceremonies, toasts and first dances/parent dances. Includes professional editing of the raw footage down to 60-120 minutes of finished video and mastering to a DVD with a chapter point menu for easy random access.
- Cinematic Music Video
hand-held, steadicam and tripod mounted footage is captured throughout the day and then edited to your favorite song in a movie-like artistic impression of your wedding day.
How does your pricing work?
Each request for a custom quote received via our website or by phone, leads to a custom collection which includes everything our client is looking for, at a price that is as close as possible to their desired budget range. All travel charges and any applicable state sales tax are included as well.
Can we get our negatives?
High resolution digital files are included in virtually all of our custom collections.
Where are you located?
We are located in the town of Johnson, Vermont, between Stowe and Smuggler's Notch, about one hour north-east of Burlington. It's a really mellow college town. It is also home to the Vermont Studio Center where artists and writers come to concentrate on their work. There's great kayaking and winter sports all around us!
We are able to hop on I-89 which connects to I-91 which drops like an elevator shaft into Massachussets and Connecticut. We fly JetBlue which connects to JFK (and beyond) quite easily.
Do you have anything we could look at besides the website?
We invite you to meet up with us either at our studio in Johnson, Vermont or perhaps at an agreeable location in either Stowe or Jeffersonville. We will be happy to show you a wide variety of albums and discuss your requirements and concerns for your wedding coverage.
How can we book you?
We will only reserve a date once we have received your signed contract and retainer. Until that happens, all dates are available. We have found that this is the fairest way to handle the many requests we receive on a daily basis.
What do you want for dinner?
We are happy to eat whatever you are eating, and since nobody wants pictures of themselves eating, we usually eat when you do! We have no special dietary requirements.
